Celebrate Christmas in Singapore (CCIS) is moving to the harbour this year, with an extra location at VivoCity on top of its usual location at the stretch of pedestrian walkway in front of Wisma Atria on Orchard Road. Grace Methodist Church will help to lead the event at VivoCity by organising and running the interactive displays at Plaza 1.To enjoy the full display of festivities, do visit both locations, as each location will have its own special activities.

Both locations will feature interactive 2D and 3D Christmas displays and the ever-popular night performances from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. from 18 to 24 December. There will be performances at VivoCity by Barker Road MC (19 Dec, 6 – 7 p.m.); Paya Lebar MC (20 Dec, 7.40 – 8.20 p.m. & 8.40 – 9.20 p.m.) and Telok Ayer CMC (21 & 22 Dec, 7.40 – 8.20 p.m.).

Rounding off our celebrations will be a mass caroling session on 23 December, and a Christmas concert on Christmas Eve at the Amphitheatre at VivoCity.

At the centre of our festivities is the proclamation of the peace and the joy that heralded the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Each performance, each telling of the Christmas story, and each gift given points back to that moment when God became Man, and changed the course of history forever.

Let us not waste our opportunity to celebrate this Truth freely, and remember the less fortunate amongst us in the midst of our merry-making. There will be a charity booth at Orchard Road. My Christmas Wish, a foundation that gives underprivileged children Christmas gifts, will also be at both sites.

Please support this good cause with your prayers, time and giving, so that more people will come to know the true meaning of Christmas.

PRAY  For the future of CCIS, favour from the authorities, wisdom in handling projects, good weather, and for sensitivity in reaching out to pre-believers.
