MWS to amend Constitution

THE Methodist Welfare Services (MWS) has adopted a resolution to amend its Constitution to allow the three Annual Conferences — CAC, ETAC and TRAC — to be represented in its Management Committee.

The decision was taken at the MWS’ 22nd Annual General Meeting at the Methodist Centre on June 28, 2003. About 40 members and pastors were present.

The Rev Dr Vincent Samuel, President of ETAC, opened the meeting with a devotion on Jesus feeding the five thousand (Matthew 14).

The new Management Committee for 2003-2005 are: Chairman — Mr Chan Kum Kit; Vice-Chairman — Mrs Tan Ee Leng; Secretary — Mr Albert Lim; Treasurer — Mrs Ng Soo Kheng; Asst Secretary — Mr Timothy Yen; Asst Treasurer — Mr David Peh.

Committee members — Mrs Woo Chu Sin, Mrs Veronica Poore, Ms Vivien Lor, Mr K. C. Fong and Dr Chen Ai Ju. The advisers are Mr Khoo Hock Nam and Mr Richard Tambyah.
